Richard Young was ordained in 2004, and since 2007 he has been the Vicar of St Matthew’s Church in Yiewsley. He was Area Dean of Hillingdon from 2018 until earlier this year. Prior to ordination, Richard was a partner in a firm of solicitors in the City, where he specialised in commercial litigation. He is married to Louise who is a teacher and they have 4 children, two of whom are former Bishop Ramsey students.
Richard is delighted to be able to support Bishop Ramsey as a member of the Trust. He is passionate about encouraging all of Hillingdon’s Church of England church schools as they seek to provide excellent Christian education to as broad a range of children as possible.
