The roles of Trustees is to work collectively to perform a strategic role and carry out key functions such as:
The Trustees are committed to ensuring that children achieve their potential and are well-equipped for life after school. We believe that every child can be successful, and as staff work hard to make sure this happens; we expect our students to do the same.
Veritas Educational Trust currently operates a 'single tier' governance structure with the Trust Board, which meets at least 4 times a year, and the following six committees of the Trust Board:
· the Finance, Resources, Risk and Audit Committee (FRRAC) which meets 3 times a year
· the Curriculum and Community Committee (CCC) meets 4 times a year
· the Admissions Committee which meets twice a year
· the Pay Committee which meets at least once a year.
In addition the Trust holds its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the Spring Term of each academic year.
The Trust's governance structure is flexible and will evolve to suit the needs of the Trust
as it grows.
Veritas Educational Trust is a multi-academy trust. Ultimate responsibility for the Academies within it rests with the Board of Trustees of the Trust. The details of the Members and Trustees of Veritas Educational Trust are listed below.
